Since winning the fifth cycle of Asia’s Next Top Model, Maureen Wroblewitz has since built a career spanning from modelling, acting, and pageantry. As new opportunities continue to come her way, maintaining an active lifestyle remains an important part of keeping up with life in the spotlight.
Citing examples such as weightlifting and pilates, for Maureen, this commitment comes from a deeply personal place. Having lost her mother to breast cancer at a young age, she has learned early on the value of being informed about her health and undergoing appropriate screenings.
As someone who lost her mom to breast cancer at a very young age, I think it’s incredibly important to be aware of how common breast cancer is. You have to educate yourself, know how to check your body, and stay on top of your health. I also believe it’s important to get yourself checked regularly, at least once a year.
Despite knowing its importance, keeping up with regular appointments has not always been easy. Between work, frequent travel, and everyday stress, finding the right time can be a challenge.
After recently celebrating her birthday, Maureen returned to the Philippines for a short break. During her stay, she visited Shinagawa Diagnostic & Preventive Care for the first time.
