An X-ray is a quick, non-invasive imaging procedure that uses low-dose radiation to capture detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues. It is a vital tool in preventive healthcare, allowing early detection of potential health issues before symptoms appear.

*Note: A doctor’s request is required before proceeding with the imaging procedure to ensure that the test is necessary for your condition. If you do not have a doctor’s request, you may book a consultation with us to secure one.

Frequently asked questions

You need to secure a doctor’s request before undergoing an X-ray procedure. This ensures that the procedure is appropriate for your health condition. If you do not have a request, you may consult with our doctors at Shinagawa. Once the doctor’s request is secured, you can proceed with the procedure.

The minimum examination time for an X-ray is 5 minutes, but it may take longer depending on the body part being examined.

You will be required to remove your undergarments and tie your hair up when undergoing an X-ray examination. Don’t worry, our Medical Team will inform you of any additional preparations on the day of your appointment.

An X-ray is a valuable tool for preventive care, especially for individuals with chronic health conditions. However, to determine whether it is necessary for your specific condition, we recommend consulting with our doctor first to secure a doctor’s request.

An X-ray is a quick and non-invasive procedure. At Shinagawa, it is recommended that you stand near our machine during the examination. If you have difficulty standing for long periods, we offer an alternative machine that allows the procedure to be performed while lying down.

Your results will be sent via email within 3 to 7 working days, depending on the service availed. If you need a hard copy, you may request it in advance when booking an appointment through our Patient Care Line. If you have already completed your appointment and need a copy, you may request it here.
