Shinagawa Diagnostic & Preventive Care hosted its first Media Day on September 29, 2026, at Ore Central in Bonifacio Global City, bringing together members of the media, influencers, and content creators for an afternoon centered on health awareness and preventive care.
Guests began with a guided clinic tour, where they explored key facilities, treatment areas, and selected health and eye assessments. The experience also introduced them to Shinagawa’s medical technologies, service approach, history, and key milestones.
After the tour, participants gathered on the 8th floor for a series of discussions highlighting Shinagawa’s services and advocacy.
Ms. Anjanette Leynes, Shinagawa Diagnostic’s Marketing Supervisor presented the clinic’s health screening options and emphasized the value of making regular checkups part of a long-term wellness routine.
Shinagawa LASIK & Aesthetics, meanwhile, was represented by its VP of Sales and Operations, Ms. Erika Miyata, who introduced the clinic’s LASIK and vision correction services. Her session gave guests a clearer understanding of the available options and an opportunity to ask questions about eye care.
Lastly, resident doctor, Daniel Uy also discussed health risks Filipinos should be aware of and the importance of understanding one’s health before symptoms become noticeable. His talk reinforced how regular assessments can provide useful information for making timely health decisions.
Through this event, Shinagawa hopes to reinforce a simple message: prevention starts with knowing, and knowing often begins with a conversation. By creating a space where health and preventive care can be discussed openly, we hope to make these topics more accessible and easier to understand.
With the reach and influence of media partners and content creators, these conversations can extend beyond the event and reach more communities, helping raise awareness of early detection and the importance of taking a proactive approach to health.
